Reflections on the Manchester Buddhist Convention

Jaya Graves who was one of the founders of the Manchester Buddhist Convention in 2006 sadly passed away in June this year.

She was one of the main driving forces behind the Convention regarding its ethos, aspiration and execution.  Her tireless enthusiasm and inspiration for the convention cannot be over emphasized.  Enclosed here are her thoughts on the Convention so ably presented in the article “From Stillness to Action” which was published in the Buddhist journal Middle Way last year.

Please find time to read ‘From Stillness to Action’ to understand Jaya’s thoughts on the MBC and hopefully enhance your own perception of the Convention.
